Our courses are flexible in format, having a typical duration of five days, but we also run shorter weekday and weekend programmes.
We can offer a very wide variety of activities, and each programme will have its own look and feel. With so many options – and we can’t do everything in a week – the only problem can be choosing which activities to include!
Below is the full list of Adult Courses that we offer. Click on any one of them for more details.
Abseiling is the perfect activity for a quick thrill and burst of adrenaline. We have a number of locations we can use to suit the type of adventure you’re looking for. We can also include a climb for those who desire an all round rock experience.

Whatever you want, really. (Well, almost!). A whole day out in Scotland's great outdoors. We can link together a number of activities or venues, or leave it to the group to plan their own day. Canoeing across the loch to a big abseil crag, or getting dropped off somewhere remote, and having to make your own way back, are two ideas - of many.
Learn some bush craft and greenwood working skills in our woodland study area and learn more about the environment. We can teach you how to light a fire, pole lathing, coppicing, mallet making etc. See our Woodland Website here for more information.
The perfect way to take in our stunning scenery and really challenge yourself. Our instructors can teach you how to navigate on the hill or if you prefer just provide the opportunity for you to enjoy some remote places.
If you fancy a challenge, rock climbing is the perfect way to spend half a day. Not only will it involve you climbing on rock but also looking after someone climbing. No matter what your ability or experience there is something to suit everyone.
A challenging, confidence building ‘caving’ activity situated on a hillside. Participants negotiate passageways and scramble through rock falls, helping and supporting their team members as they go. A great way to explore the hill.
Kayaks or Open Canoes are used to teach basic skills and explore the sheltered waters of Loch Goil. Plenty of fun and games are used whilst learning new skills and increasing confidence. We can provide you with the opportunity to increase your skills or simply view the surrounding area from a different perspective. We also have a fleet of sea kayaks for journeying further.
You will be challenged to degisn and make a raft that can not only stay afloat but fit your whole team on it. Always a hilarious and (possibly) wet activity.
Clad in wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets you will ascend a riverbed negotiating gorges, waterfalls and plunge pools culminating in the final “Splosh!” An excellent activity!
